Windhill Assists NEW Brooksby Residents

Ipswich, MA - August 15, 2007 - On Wednesday, August 15th Erickson’s Brooksby Village of Peabody hosted a ‘Priority List’ event for those ready to join an energetic and maintenance-free retirement community. Couples and singles were invited to hear first hand how to best prepare to make the move. Erickson’s commitment to assist with their future resident’s transition from single-family living to a full-service retirement community prompted the full-day information session. Eight preferred vendors were invited to set-up informational stations, to allow those on the Priority List to hear from experts on the best ways to prepare to move into their new homes. Ipswich Resident and Brooksby Move-In Coordinator Diane Rose invited an antique/collectible dealer, downsizing and interior design experts, moving companies and Ipswich’s own real estate company Windhill Realty. “It is essential that we introduce our future residents to these preferred service providers to make the transition an exciting time and help to eliminate the stress that can happen, when  preparing to move,” said Diane. 
 
The event provided Windhill’s Property Advisors with an opportunity to meet and greet Brooksby Priority List folks in the process of placing their home on the market in order to sell quickly. Advisors answered questions and shared with each homeowner the importance of partnering with a real estate company that can aggressively promote their property and offer hands-on customer service. The topic of the declining real estate market was a common discussion throughout the day.  “We enjoyed the event and were glad to put many folks at ease when they expressed their concern of not being able to sell their home in time to take advantage of an opening at Brooksby,” said Windhill Advisor Toni Riddle. Real Estate Advisors at the event shared the importance of properly preparing a home for market with home staging services, pricing a property accordingly to create immediate interest and aligning themselves with a company like Windhill with a strong and unprecedented internet exposure. “We rely on the expert advice and services of our preferred vendors like Windhill,” stated John DeCecca Director of Marketing for Brooksby Village. He added, “There are many companies to select from, but our preferred list has been chosen carefully to make certain our future residents are well cared for during such an important and exciting time in their life.”
