Douglas J. Kilgore - Broker / Managing Partner
Deerfield, New Hampshire resident Doug Kilgore, Windhill’s co-owner and broker, sees the real estate industry as a perfect place to incorporate new technology. Kilgore is a former business analyst and sales and marketing systems project manager for a high tech company, and now brings this experience to Windhill Realty. “In the end it’s still about putting people together with properties,” says Kilgore, “but our use of the internet, email, and other tools streamlines the process for both our advisors and our clients.”
Kilgore made the transition from high-tech to real estate with the purchase of some investment properties. From there, his interest grew into a full-fledged career including property management, brokering transactions, and the founding of Windhill with partner Shawn Cayer.
Kilgore serves as treasurer of the Deerfield Community Church and on the Investment Committee of the Scots Charitable Society of Boston. He is also active on and past president of the alumni board of Phi Kappa Theta fraternity at UNH. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, off-road driving, and spending time with his wife and three children at home in Deerfield.
