The Great North Woods Region is best known for it's many moose sightings. The moose my be seen throughout this region but particularly along Route 3 north of Pittsburg, NH. The thirteen-mile scenic roadway is known as "Moose Alley".

With over 273 lakes, the New Hampshire Lakes Region is popular four-season vacation location. Lake Winnipesaukee is New Hampshire's largest lake, stretching 72 miles across, and has over 274 habitable islands. The larger lakes in the lakes region include; Winnipesaukee, Waukewan, Big Squam, Little Squam, Lake Winnisquam, Lake Wentworth, Newfound Lake and more than 250 other lakes, ponds and various bodies of water.

The Monadnock region of south western New Hampshire is best known for Mount Monadnock, the most climbed mountain in the United States, which has over 40 miles of trails.
The famous Dartmouth / Sunapee Region is known for beauty, scenic vistas, clear lakes, and Dartmouth College. The busy and growing Upper Valley is located here.
