Crane Beach, which is located along the town’s southern coast is considered one of the best beaches in the region because of its soft sand, great surf and miles of winding recreational trails. Ipswich is a great residential community and vibrant tourism industry for those looking to enjoy the comforts of a friendly, active, waterfront community.

Famous for it’s clams, Ipswich hosts several events throughout the year like Chowderfest, and Illumination. The Crane Estate, aka, Castle Hill is another famous location in Ipswich that hosts hundreds of events yearly. In addition to the famous waterfront, and history of Ipswich; there is also a prominent agricultural area of town. Marini Farm is a staple in Ipswich, known for its famous strawberry picking in the spring/early summer. Marini Farm was established in 1928 and now 3 generations later, provides some of the best quality fresh produce on the North Shore!
