Stop by our office at 55 Market Street, Ipswich, MA Suite 102, corner opposite The Institution for Savings and donate non-perishable food items for the Ipswich Food Pantry. Pantry hours are very limited so we serve as a drop-off location Monday through Saturday during business hours. We intend to collect on behalf of the food pantry for the remainder of 2009 but we would love to make a large delivery in time for Christmas. Also, we are sponsoring a family this year through Ipswich Caring. We are collecting monetary donations and Ipswich caring will be putting their trained shoppers to work for "our" family. I'll never forget the kids, River and Summer Smith of Ipswich who came by last year with the change from theirpiggy banks...made my Christmas! All checks should be made out to Ipswich Caring and can either be dropped off at our office or mailed to the address above. Do you have any warm-weather-gear ready for the goodwill pile? Every year we make a trip to a shelter in Gloucester and they are always happy to see us with our load of coats, hats, gloves, boots, etc. I hear a lot about places to donate kids coats but this shelter is adults only so we are looking for adult sizes. Deadline is December 19th.
