I just received my January issue of Realtor Magazine and thought this would be a good time to share some news about remodeling projects and how to get the biggest bang for your buck. Back in October I gave you a link to the latest Cost Vs. Value Report. I have been reading these reports for years now and this is the first time I've ever seen entry doors included in the surveys. That's right, I said entry doors. Mid-range entry door replacements turned out to be the least expensive of the 33 projects included in the analysis, yet brought a whopping average national return on investment of 128.9 percent. That was news to me! We've all heard, "you only get one chance to make a first impression". Sounds like that first impression is a major factor when you are in the Buyer's shoes. I recommend reading the full article particularly if you are planning improvements with the intention of selling your home in the near future.
