We had a visit from the Winthrop Preschool on Friday. The kids, all bundled up, hiked on foot, food pantry items in hand. They paraded in and each placed their item into the donation box. We were thrilled! Special thanks to the teachers for taking the initiative, bringing the kids down and showing them first hand what the season of giving is really about. Every year we collect on behalf of the Ipswich Food Pantry and it's truly a joy for us when we get to see the kids.

We are planning a our biggest delivery ever to the pantry this Wednesday, December 15th at 3:00pm. This will ensure it gets into the hands of those who need it in time for Christmas. So come on by if you'd like to donate either non perishable food items or checks made out to Ipswich Food Pantry. We are also doing our annual delivery to Action, Inc. a homeless shelter in Gloucester for adults. If you have any coats or warm weather clothing items, bring those by this Wednesday the 15th as well.
That's what it's ALL about folks. Now if that doesn't get you into the spirit...
