Selling Your North of Boston Home in 2018 ? Spring, Summer or Fall? When is Best?

Is the window of opportunity for Sellers really narrowing? I've read multiple articles pointing to that idea but I'm on the fence. Is there truth to this or is the intent to drive the severely lacking inventory? Regardless, if you're thinking 2018 is the year you make a move, buying or selling or both, I want you to have as much information as possible. Timing is everything in this business. Chatting with one of our preferred lenders the other day, Susan Dick of Fairway Mortgage, I learned that rates are gently climbing and the trend suggests it will continue.

Predictions say inventory will remain tight this Spring but that things will change by fall. Read the full article from Realtor.com and 5 reasons it'll pay to sell your home early in 2018. I'm still on the fence about what the future holds but I can tell you for certain, right now is a great time for sellers to sell. The bidding wars are not a myth here on the North Shore, North of Boston. Get referrals from family & friends. Ask around. Find a trusted agent who works in the communities you have your heart set on. Our agents have been servicing Essex County and the North Shore for 30+ years. The testimonials speak volumes!
