"Bow Bank" holds a delightful C1850 Colonial cottage, on nearly 3 acres, at the bank of the Rowley River sited on a gentle upland knoll, surrounded by the Great Marsh. For people that are SERIOUS about getting away from it all.....this incredibly rare opportunity to step "back in time" does not often present itself. You are completely "off the grid" solar lights, gas fridge/cooking, cistern for water and a composting "loo". Yet, you are roughly 1/2 mile from a small, local marina/launch service and less than a mile to the train station with service to Boston. No current dock, but easily accessed at higher tides. Possibility to build a dock/add a float and simple "out haul" with proper permits. Wraparound porch/with large screened room. The river flows into Plum Island Sound/Ipswich Bay to the Atlantic. Slip your kayak/canoe off the bank and paddle your cares away. Bird life is phenomenal. The views are incredible, the privacy...sublime. The serenity, priceless.
