What a day! Working with Sheila Taylor and her crew of the Ipswich Council on Aging was a joy from start to finish! When we came up with the idea of providing dessert and cozy fleece blankets for all the folks attending their holiday luncheon, we immediately got to work and many hands make light work!
'Team' was the word of the day as we loaded, delivered, unloaded, served and cleaned up for 120 of Ipswich's seniors. We got to chat with so many of the guests selling them raffle tickets, getting them refreshments, sharing laughs, enjoying the incredible performance by the Ipswich High School Orchestra and just enjoying the day together.
It sounds like Sheila was just as happy, "It was so much fun to work with all of you yesterday at our holiday party. It felt like we had all worked together many times before as everything went off without a hitch. Everyone just seemed to know what to do instinctively and happily. Thank you for your contributions of dessert and the warm and cozy blankets. Everyone loved them and were ready to snuggle with them right away. It was such a nice and thoughtful gift for our patrons! We truly appreciate your partnership and look forward to more opportunities." We do too Sheila! We do too!
