80th Anniversary of D-Day Parade and Block Party in Ipswich, MA

North shore folks will be honoring World War II veterans this weekend with a parade and block party in Ipswich, MA. The parade will commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day and all of the Veterans in and around Ipswich. Classic cars, marching bands, color guards and more will make their way through town to honor those who have served.
 
Market Street will be shut down and lined with vendors, food trucks, a True North beer garden, and entertainment!
 
The block party begins at 11 with vendors and food along market street and into the Ebsco parking lot with live music on the Take Out Terrace stage.
The music will stop before the parade starts at 1pm.
 
Parade starts at Linebrook Road by Bialek Park. Enters into Lord Square, down Central Street to Market Square where the reviewing stand will be then goes over Choate Bridge and ends in the vicinity of South Village Green. Police and Parade Marshalls will keep order and parade moving. There will be over 500 participants marching!
 
When the parade concludes, the Annie Brobst Band will hit the main stage playing country music and the beer tent, food trucks, and booths along market street will be hopping until 6pm!
 
Be sure to stop by at see us at 16 Market Street for a free kid craft while supplies last - Build your own bird (house) feeder, because there's no place like home!    
    
Check out the North Shore Philharmonic Orchestra on Thursday night, 6/7, 7pm at the Ipswich High School.
