Community at its Best: A Special Opening Day at Danvers National Little League

This year’s Opening Day at Danvers National Little League was marked by a truly special moment as “Ducky” Christopher Anderson threw the ceremonial first pitch, a moment that captured the spirit of community, connection, and support that makes local traditions like this so meaningful.

Events like Opening Day are about much more than baseball. They represent the countless volunteers, families, organizers, coaches, and community members who come together year after year to create something positive for local kids and families. It’s teamwork in the truest sense, and it’s what helps build strong communities.

We were proud to know one of our own team members, Dan Kilbride, was there helping capture the moment through his volunteer involvement with the organization. We’re especially grateful to have people like Dan on our team, individuals who generously give their time and energy to causes that strengthen the communities where we live and work.

At the end of the day, businesses are only as strong as the communities around them. Supporting local organizations, showing up for one another, and celebrating moments like these are things we value deeply.

A special thank you to everyone who helps make Danvers National Little League such an important part of the community year after year.
